Role Overview:

As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in our growth strategy, combining your sales acumen with your operational expertise to develop new business opportunities and build robust operational processes. Your experience in similar roles will be key as you lead initiatives to drive revenue and establish our software development hub in Malaga, Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Process Development:

  • Design and implement efficient operational processes for the new software development hub.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations and services.
  • Monitor and optimize operational workflows to enhance productivity and quality.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and competitive landscapes.
  • Use insights to refine business development strategies and operational processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and market demands to keep our offerings relevant and competitive.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and progress.

Business Development and Sales:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the software development sector.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions to meet their evolving needs.
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects and services by coordinating with internal teams.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in business development, sales, and operations, preferably in the software development or IT services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in establishing and managing operational processes for software development teams or hubs.

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership and team-building expertise.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and operational management systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
